Pharmacy Support Associate

Sick of working Thanksgiving and Christmas?  At Vetsource you don't have to!  Vetsource is looking for Support Associates to support the pharmacy warehouse by ensuring various consumable resources are prepared and ready for use in the pharmacy.

Part time, Full time, and Seasonal opportunities.

This position is based at our Pharmacy Warehouse near Gresham, OR.

Hours of Operations

M-F 5:00am - 4:00pm

Saturday 6:00am - 3:00pm

Essential Duties:

The workload may be weighted differently in each area and entail a variety of tasks from breaking down large product shipments into smaller units, packaging, sorting, labeling, and sealing.  


  • Breaks down palletized product into saleable units. 
  • Sorts, unpacks, receives, checks, and stores materials accurately on a daily basis.
  • Works with RF scanning devices for receiving, storing and filling orders
  • Packages/prepares orders for shipment with care and clearly labeled
  • Ensures the safety, cleanliness and security of the warehouse work environment 
  • Safely utilizes Pallet Jack, box taper, scissors / rotary knife, ladders, and box cutter
  • Assists in the recycling and garbage cycles throughout wholesale warehouse
  • Re-stocks supplies as needed. 
  • Manual and automated barcode / label application.
  • All other tasks as assigned  

Order Fulfillment

  • Performs functions related to shipping prescriptions including system support, workflow management, and replenishment of shipping supplies
  • Provide clerical and shipping support for the pharmacy department, including but not limited to making boxes and stocking workflow stations
  • May be required to perform other clerical duties to support pharmacy team
  • Safely utilizes manual pallet Jack, hand truck,tape gun,scissors / rotary knife, ladders, and box cutter
  • Licensed Support Associates Workflow Support Clerks are expected to be proficient on the pick-line, with the ability to support Pharmacy Techs as needed
  • All other tasks as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment 
  • Able to lift and shelve materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Excels at performing repetitive tasks accurately for long periods of time
  • Team oriented; communicates and works well with others
  • Capacity to start and stop projects seamlessly, despite frequent interruptions, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures, is accountable, and committed to continuous quality improvement

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of related work experience preferred
  • Proficiency with computers

Working conditions:

  • Environment where dogs are present in office areas of building
  • Ability to work standing on pressurized concrete for long periods of time
  • Physical requirements: Lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and shelving up to 50 lbs, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling and etc. in a safe and efficient manner


  • High school diploma or equivalent
